This project was undertaken for one of a hotel chain in Thailand. Due to a non-disclosure agreement (NDA), we are unable to reveal the client's identity. For confidentiality purposes, all company names, logos, and job titles within this case study have been pseudonymized.
The Challenge
The COVID-19 pandemic severely impacted the hospitality industry, particularly in Thailand. With a dramatic decline in travel and tourism, hotels were forced to lay off a significant portion of their workforce. As restrictions eased and travel began to rebound, hotels faced a new dilemma: uncertainty about future demand. Hesitant to overhire and risk financial strain, they remained cautious in recruiting new staff.
The Opportunity
This cautious approach left many skilled hospitality workers unemployed despite a growing need for their expertise. Recognizing this challenge, the client saw an opportunity to create a positive impact within the industry.
